The OAaSIS team were greeted by a small, but extremely receptive audience from the Sargeantville and Edward Piece community, March 28.
The OAaSIS seeks to furnish the already pledged building with books, at least one computer and volunteer teachers as a start, and needs volunteers.
This July, on Saturday 17, the OAaSIS networking team will share at the Trench Town Rock.
By the cool of the flowing river in the Searganntville Community, Saint Catherine, OAaSIS volunteers will host a one-day workshop at the church building.

Plans have now been finalised for the Creative Workshop Series (CWS) at St Theresa’s Preparatory. This was done in a meeting on Monday, February 22 between principal Mrs Dahlia Taylor, art teacher Mr Earl Fyffe and OAaSIS Founder, Anthea McGibbon.
Assistant Project Director Melhanie Spence had been present at the introductory meeting with both Mr Fyffe and Ms McGibbon.
Teacher says the first workshop was extremely beneficial to the older students, as Kamal Hines introduced the GSAT Games to the students. A number of teachers have since expressed an interest in securing these cds to be used in lesson delivery.
I cannot thank Ms. Anthea McGibbon and her team enough for the six amazing days we had, says Allman Town Principal Mrs Kandi-Lee Crooks-Smith
