During the month of May, St Theresa Prep and Port Royal students had their chance at getting creative.
They learnt from members of the creative industry – literary, performing, visual, culinary. A few photographs were then circulated to the media, especially the Gleaner’s Childrens Own that currently has a programme called “Newspaper in Design”

Creativity at work – June 7, 2010

After the information was submitted, Gleaner paginators had fun in turning out a well-designed page. Although no article accompanied the photos, a pictorial was made.
A pictorial is a page in any printed media where only photographs and captions are used to create the page. The elements together tell the story of what happened.
Simply put one understands what happened from first glance of the page. Sometimes a brief 2 sentence introduction is also placed on the page.
